National and International Research

  • Support curriculum research and development within the schools and training centres
  • Contact with other educational systems and views by attending conferences and papers

  • How different states examine and monitor their pupils' progress (with the aim of gaining an international recognition for the results of Waldorf education).
  • Career profiles of school leavers
  • Evaluation and Assessment procedures
  • Quality Care
  • The relationship between teachers and parents in school communities
  • Co-ordinating and developing recruitment of Waldorf teachers and teacher education

Curriculum research and development within the schools and training centres is encouraged and disseminated, as is keeping up to date with relevant academic research. Contact with other educational systems and views is also actively fostered and colleagues are supported in attending conferences and presenting papers. Evaluation and Assessment procedures are reviewed and regular conferences on Quality Care held. Working in cooperation with: Alliance for Childhood (as a co-founder); International Vereinigung der Waldorfkindergärten e.V.; Freunde der Erziehungskunst; International Hulp Funds; Pedagogical Section Dornach, Switzerland; The Hague Circle; European Forum for Freedom In Education; Member of the Association of Teacher Education in Europe.
